Twomaverix.com Interviews Digital Fabulists Author DAVID REDDISH
Author, artist and activist David Reddish knows how to tell a compelling love story.
He also knows how to bring to light facts that may very well surprise you.
David’s new novel, The Passion of Sergius and Bacchus, is the story of two gay soldiers, in 357 A.D., set against the backdrop of the Roman Empire. As their emperor, Gaius, struggles to rule and reacts to the new “Galilean” religion, Sergius and Bacchus meet, fall in love and make a commitment to each other. But the joy they’ve found, as a couple, is about to be threatened…
David talked about his background, the experience of writing his book (which is based on two fourth-century saints) and some of the facts most people don’t know about early Christianity. And he issued an invitation: to his live reading this Saturday, September 20th at 1 pm, as he reads from his book The Passion of Sergius and Bacchus, onsite at the San Gabriel Valley Pride 2014 Festival in Pasadena’s Memorial Park!
